Submit your session proposal for a chance to share your SAP insights with your peers at the 2020 ASUG Best Practices: SAP for Chemicals conference, taking place Sept. 21–23 in Houston. Proposals will be reviewed by our conference advisory committee made up of industry thought leaders, experts, and your peers.
We organized a conference advisory committee, which is made up of industry thought leaders, experts, and your peers. The committee evaluates all presentation submissions, helps select the conference speakers, balances the agenda, and provides feedback from an industry perspective.
There will be approximately 40 sessions that will be selected to be featured at this conference. We will also select alternate sessions that will replace any speakers who cancel.
All submitters and speakers should expect to hear from us by early June with the status of your submission(s). Our team will be in touch with any important information and any action items if needed before selections are made. The system will not allow for changes to be made once the call for proposals has closed. You are welcome to submit more than one abstract. Any duplicate abstracts will be deleted, and only the first abstract submitted will be considered.
The conference advisory committee will be reviewing the quality of each individual abstract rather than the number submitted by a particular speaker, company, etc., so ensure you focus on the quality of your abstract before submitting.
Partner organizations can submit an abstract but have a much greater chance of being selected if the proposal is submitted with a customer co-speaker.

The ASUG enterprise content team reserves the right to amend these policies as we see fit, but failure to meet or comply with any of these requirements may result in the cancellation of your session and/or revocation of any registration and/or travel benefits.
All speakers are expected to be active members of ASUG in good standing in order to present at ASUG events. Nonmember speakers may be asked to confirm their membership in order to be considered as speakers for the event. Registration invites and/or travel arrangements may be withheld until membership is confirmed.
All speakers must be registered for the event by the date specified by the ASUG enterprise content team. Failure to meet this requirement may result in the cancellation of your session and/or revocation of any registration and/or travel benefits.
All speakers will qualify for either a complimentary or discounted registration pass. More details regarding registration will be provided following acceptance.
Any speaker additions or substitutions are subject to the approval of the ASUG enterprise content team.
If you are unable to give your presentation, we appreciate you extending the professional courtesy of notifying us in order to provide our ASUG enterprise content team sufficient time to arrange for a replacement session during your scheduled session time.
*Please note, if you cancel as a speaker for your session or if you fail to present your scheduled session, your complimentary registration will be forfeited, and you will be charged the full registration amount.
